Lizol Shakti Contest – Terms and Conditions

These are the terms and conditions of use for the Contest (as defined hereinafter) offered by Reckitt Benckiser India Private Limited, a company as defined under the Companies Act, 2013 having its registered office at DLF Cyber Park, 6th & 7th Floor (Tower C), 405 B, Udyog Vihar Phase III, Sector 20, Gurugram-122016, and having its branch office at the Executive Centre, Level 3B, DLF Centre, Sansad Marg, Connaught Place, New Delhi-110001 on ShaktibyLizol.co.in website (“Contest Terms”) and form a legal and binding agreement amongst Reckitt Benckiser India Private Limited (“Company”, “us”, “we” or “our”) and any person (“You”/“Your”/“Participant(s)”) accessing the Contest (as defined hereinafter), related data, information, text, graphics, video, sound, pictures, and any other materials appearing, sent, uploaded, communicated, transmitted, or otherwise made available via in connection with the Contest through the content shared by the Company on ShaktibyLizol.co.in (“Platform”) for participating in Lizol Shakti Contest being conducted by the Company from 1st April 2025 to 30th September 2025 (“Contest”).

Eligibility: You understand and acknowledge that you must be over 18 years of age and a resident of India to access and/or use our Contest. By agreeing to these Contest Terms, you represent and warrant to us that: (a) you are at least 18 years old; (b) you have not previously been suspended or blocked from accessing the Platform; (c) your access to the Contest and use of the Platform is in compliance with any and all applicable laws and regulations; and (d) you are a resident of India.

Contest validity and duration: This Contest will be open to all the residents of India (except the State of Tamil Nadu) with the exception of employees, their immediate family members, agents, distributors, retailers and any other channel partner of Reckitt and it’s Agencies. The Contest is valid only during the Contest period i.e. from 1st April 2025 12:00 AM to 30th September 2025, 11:59 PM. Entries made outside this timeframe will not be considered.

Participation: Subject to compliance with Contest Terms (including Eligibility criteria specified in Clause 2 above):

(a) You automatically enter the Contest upon scanning the QR Code given on the leaflet received along with the Lizol Shakti free sample.

(b) To submit the final entry, the Participant will have to answer one question which will be available on Shaktibylizol.co.in website, share Lizol Shakti product feedback and enter details such as Name, phone number and email id.

(c) The contest is valid for one entry for each phone number.

(d) Incomplete or fraudulent entries will not be considered for the Contest.

Selection of Winners and Prizes:

(a) All Participants will receive an Amazon discount coupon of Rs 20 each.

(b) 1 lucky Contest winner (‘Winner”) will be selected through a randomiser process after the Contest ends on 30th September 2025 and will receive a Whirlpool Refrigerator (Model - Whirlpool FP 343D 330L Frost Free Triple Door Refrigerator) (“Contest prize”).

(c) The Contest Prize will be distributed to Winner by R K Solutions having its registered office at FF - 5, PVR Cinema Complex, Saket New Delhi 110017 (hereinafter referred to as “Agency”).

(d) The Contest Prize cannot be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for cash. If the Winner does not take the Contest Prize in the time and manner stipulated in clause 7, then the Contest Prize will be forfeited by the Winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the Contest Prize. Contest Prize must be taken as specified and cannot be varied.

(e) Any unused Contest Prize is not-transferable, non-refundable and non-redeemable for other goods or services and cannot be taken in exchange for cash.

(f) Company and/or Agency shall provide the Contest Prize on an "as-is basis" and without any warranty or guarantee concerning the quality, suitability or comfort, and Company and/or its associates, affiliates and/ or its management, directors, officers, agents, representatives and/or it’s Agency shall not be responsible for or liable (including but not limited to the product and service liabilities) for deficiency and/ or defect of any product/service and/or the Contest Prize or for any kind of consequential damages/ loss, in any manner whatsoever. If Winner has any grievance with respect to the Contest Prize, he/she/they may directly contact the manufacturer.

(g) The image of the Contest Prize depicted on Television channels, Instagram and Facebook, or any other digital/social media platform in connection with Contest promotion are for illustrative purposes only and the actual Contest Prize may vary from the depiction made.

(h) Company and/or Agency shall not be liable for any loss or damage of the Contest Prize due to Act of God, Governmental action and other Force Majeure circumstances and shall not be liable to pay any compensation whatsoever for such losses.

(i) Any Winner during the Contest Period shall not be eligible to win any further prizes.

(j) The Winner and the size, type, value and category of the Contest Prize shall be determined by Company and/or it’s Agency and Company and/or it’s Agency reserves the right to vary the same to resolve the practical difficulties, if any.

Announcement of Winners:

(a) Winner Announcement shall take place after the expiry of Contest anytime in October 2025

(b) The Company reserves the right to announce winner publicly on its official social media platforms and website.

Contacting Winners:

(a) The Winner will be contacted via his/her/their registered contact details, i.e. email id and/or phone number entered by them during Contest participation, by the Company consumer care team.

Step 1: Once the Winner is selected, Agency appointed by Reckitt shall process the Contest Prize for them.

Step 2: In the event the Winner email id/number is unreachable, or he/she/they do not respond to the mail/call, two (2) more attempts will be made to reach the Winner on that day and/or the next business day.

Step 3: If even on the third attempt, the Winner do not respond to the mail/call, or is unreachable, the Winner’s participation in the Contest comes to an end and the Winner’s entry stands cancelled and Winner becomes ineligible to receive the Contest Prize.

Step 4: If the shortlisted Winner remains unreachable on the third attempt or is not interested in continuing in the Contest or is otherwise ineligible to participate, the Company consumer care team may conduct up to two (2) more random selections to shortlist a Participant, and the Contest Prize will go the next shortlisted Participant and the said participant will be declared as Winner.

Step 5: In case of a positive response to claim the Contest Prize from the Winner such shortlisted Winner will be required to share his/her/their address, within 72 hours of the first winning confirmation conveyed to the Winner, to deliver the Contest Prize to the winner.

The Winner shall produce the following documents at the time of delivery of Contest Prize for verification purposes.

- Copy of Address proof (Electricity bill or Mobile Bill)
- Valid government authorized document such as Aadhar card or PAN card
- Mobile Number
- No Objection Certificate (Letter) – Self Attested

If all the documents produced are in order and valid then the Participant becomes eligible to be a Winner and the Contest Prize will be handed over to the Winner.

(b) Contest Prize winners names will be published on the Company physical, social and digital media handles and/or platforms.

(c) No Prizes will be awarded if the information presented by the Participant(s) at the time of entering the Contest is not factually correct.

(d) In the event of death of the confirmed Winner, no claim from the nominee or his/her/their legal heirs of the confirmed Winner shall be entertained for receiving the Contest Prize.

All Participants shall be bound by these Contest Terms, privacy policies and all other rules, regulations, and terms of use referred to herein or provided by Company in relation to this Contest. In so far as any Contest details may be provided through any platform operated by any third parties, please note that we do not control the content that appears on such platform. The Company does not warranty the accuracy, integrity, quality of the content provided by third parties, while participating in any of the contests hosted on such third-party Platform. We are further not responsible for the practices employed by such third parties, including practices relating to the Participants personal information. Browsing and interaction on any other third-party’s platform is subject to such third parties’ own terms and policies, including policies in relation to the collection and use of your personal information. We encourage you to read the terms and policies of any third-party before proceeding to use their websites, products, or services.

This document is an electronic record in terms of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules there under as applicable and various other statutes. This electronic record is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures.

You acknowledge and agree that by using, or otherwise accessing the Platform and Contest, you agree to be bound by these Contest Terms, and undertake to be bound by the specific rules and regulations of each of the Contest as applicable.

The Contest may change or be modified from time to time without prior notice or communication. Company reserves the right to change, modify or delete the Contest made available on the Platform at any time.

Subject to the Participants compliance with these Contest Terms, the Company gives Participants a personal, royalty-free, non-assignable, non-sublicensable, non-transferable, non-exclusive, and revocable limited right to access and use the Platform, subject to the terms of any third-parties operating such Platform, that is provided as part of the Contest. This right is for the sole purpose of enabling the Participants own personal private use in order to participate in the Contest as hosted on the Platform, in the manner prescribed under these Contest Terms and not for any commercial purposes, in India and is valid only until the Participant is bound by these Contest Terms.

You acknowledge that your participation in the Contest available on the Platform is purely voluntary and at your sole discretion and risk. The participation in the Contest shall be construed as an acceptance of the terms and conditions stipulated herein. You further understand that we provide the Contest on our Platform on an ‘as is’ basis.

You are solely responsible for your participation in our Contest and any other actions on our Platform. The Company shall not be responsible for your actions or conduct, or content (including unlawful or objectionable content) uploaded by you on the Platform.

Any external charges levied on the Participants for participating in the Contest, including but not limited to internet connection and/or mobile or data charges are solely the responsibility of such Participants.

The Contest may include advertisements. The types and extent of advertising by Company on the Contest are subject to change.

We only provide legally permissible free to-participate-Contest on our Platform and do not accept any deposit amounts or real money from Participants for Participant in the Contest on the Platform.

Participants understand and acknowledge that the Contest hosted on the Platform is such Contest as may be permitted under applicable Indian laws, and that we do not support, endorse, or offer to Participants any Contest which are in the nature of betting, gambling or wagering or otherwise prohibited and/or regulated under any State laws in India.

You agree and accept that Company shall not be liable or responsible for the breach of applicable state laws by any Participant. There may be applicable penalties imposed on such Participants by the respective State Governments or the Central Government of India as the case may be. Such liability shall be solely on the Participant and Company reserves the right to suspend/terminate such Participant participation in its Contest without any notice. You agree and acknowledge that our decision in this regard will be final and binding, and no consideration, whatsoever, will be extended to the Participant.

Participants understand and acknowledge that the decisions of the Company in all matter relating to the Contest are final and binding, including but not limited to decisions on the outcomes of the Participants participation in the Contest.

Prohibited Conduct: By participating in our Contest, you agree that you will not:

(a) use the Platform or Contest in any manner which is, in our sole discretion, not reasonable and/or not for the purpose it is made available; (b) violate the rights of any person, including copyright, trade secret, privacy right, or any other intellectual property or proprietary right; (c) act in violation of any Contest Terms of participating in the Contest or using our Platform; (d) reproduce, republish, retransmit, modify, adapt, distribute, translate, create derivative works or adaptations of, publicly display, sell, trade, or in any way exploit our Platform or any content thereon, except as expressly authorized by us; (e) use any automated launching or entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means to automatically enter in any Contest repeatedly; (f) attempt to deliberately damage; or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest by the Company; (g) tamper with, or benefits from any tampering or system error with the operation of any Contest, or acts in a disruptive manner with the intent to hampers or disturbs the conduct of any Contest; (h) participate in or access the Contest from outside India. Any Participant doing so will be participating at their own risk and are responsible for compliance with the laws of such jurisdiction. These Contest Terms do not constitute, nor may it be used for or in connection with, any promotional activities or solicitation by anyone in any jurisdiction in which such promotional activities or solicitation is not authorized or to any person to whom it is unlawful to promote or solicit in any manner.

If you choose to submit any content on the Platform in the course of your participation in our Contest, you hereby warrant that no content shall:

(a) belong to another person and to which the participant does not have any right; (b) be defamatory, obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another’s privacy, including bodily privacy, insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, libelous, racially or ethnically objectionable, relating or encouraging money laundering or gambling, or otherwise inconsistent with or contrary to the laws in force; (c) be harmful to children; (d) infringe any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary rights; (e) violate any law for the time being in force; (f) deceive or mislead the addressee about the origin of the message or knowingly and intentionally communicates any information which is patently false or misleading in nature but may reasonably be perceived as a fact; (g) impersonate another person; (h) threaten the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign States, or public order, or causes incitement to the commission of any cognisable offence or prevents investigation of any offence or is insulting other nation; (i) contain software virus or any other computer code, file or program designed to (j) interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer resource; (k) be patently false and untrue, and is written or published in any form, with the intent to mislead or harass a person, entity or agency for financial gain or to cause any injury to any person.

The Company may not be held responsible for any content posted or contributed by Participants on the Platform.

In the event Participants do not abide by these Contest Terms and all other rules, regulations, and terms of use, or are found to be engaging in any prohibited conducted Company may, at its sole and absolute discretion, take necessary remedial action, including but not limited to restricting, suspending, or terminating any Participant’s participation in the Contest.

The Contest include a combination of content created by Company, its partners, affiliates, licensors, associates and/or Participants. The intellectual property rights (“Intellectual Property Rights”) in all software underlying the Contest and material published on the Platform, relating to the Contest, including but not limited to, software, written content, photographs, graphics, images, illustrations, marks, logos, audio or video clippings and flash animation, is owned by Company, its affiliates, partners, licensors and/or associates. Participants may not modify, publish, transmit, participate in the transfer or sale of, reproduce, create derivative works of, distribute, publicly perform, publicly display, or in any way exploit any of the materials or content of Company either in whole or in part. Nothing in these Contest Terms shall be construed to convey, and the Participants by virtue of these Contest Terms shall not acquire, any ownership or other interest or right in any intellectual property any of the materials or content related to the Contest available on the Platform.

Participants are solely responsible for all materials (whether publicly posted or privately transmitted) that they upload, post, e-mail, transmit, or otherwise make available on the Platform. Each Participant represents and warrants that he/she/they owns all Intellectual Property Rights in the Participant content and that no part of the Participant’s content infringes any third-party rights. Participants further confirm and undertake to not display or use of the names, logos, marks, labels, trademarks, copyrights or intellectual and proprietary rights of any third party on the Platform.

Participants hereby grant to Company and its affiliates, partners, licensors and associates a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub-licensable, license to use, store, reproduce, create derivative works of, distribute, publicly perform, publicly display, transfer, transmit, and/or publish Participant’s content for any purposes.

Publicity: Participants by the means of participating in the Contest on the Platform grant permission to the Company, and its affiliates to use the Participant’s name, likeness, voice, and comments for advertising and promotional purposes in any media worldwide for purposes of advertising and trade without any further permissions or consents and/or additional compensation whatsoever. The Participant/s further undertakes that they will be available for promotional purposes as planned and desired by Company without any charge. Such promotional activities may include but not be limited to publications, advertisements, press events, internal meetings and ceremonies/functions.

You freely consent and authorize Reckitt and its affiliates to collect, store, process and transfer all data (including your sensitive personal information) for user surveys, analysis, offers and Reckitt brand promotion activities (referred as “Purpose”). You herein authorize that your personal information (including sensitive personal information) may be transferred and shared with Reckitt, its affiliates, its Agencies, its agents and service providers for the stated Purpose in India and across the globe. The Reckitt Benckiser plc group of companies shall always process your data in accordance with its privacy policy https://www.lizol.co.in/privacy-policy . You may freely withdraw your consent at any time at which time the Reckitt Benckiser Plc group of companies will immediately cease to process and store the abovementioned data.

Nothing in these Contest Terms shall prejudice the exercise of your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable laws.

The Contest and all information, content, materials, products (including software), and other services included on or otherwise made available to you through the Platform are provided by the Company on an “as is” and “as available” basis. The Company makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to, any warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, as to the operation of the Contest, or the information, content, materials, products (including software), or other services included on or otherwise made available to you through the Platform. You expressly agree that your participation in the Contest is at your sole risk.

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall have no liability for any damages or injury caused, in whole or in part, by contingencies or issues beyond our reasonable control, including, but not limited to: the acts of third parties, errors in the Contest, or the Platform, network failures, internet failures, software and hardware failures, viruses and other system attacks, labor stoppages, riots, acts of government or god, natural disasters, acts of terrorism, communication line failure, or theft, destruction of, unauthorized access to, alteration of or use of records.

You agree and acknowledge that with full knowledge of the facts and circumstances surrounding the Contests hosted on the Platform, you are voluntarily participating in the Contests and assume all responsibility for it and risk resulting from your participation. Company makes no guarantees, warranties, representations, or other promises relating to the Contest and assumes no liability or responsibility for any harms, including but not limited to any financial harms, that you may sustain as a result of participation in the Contest.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company and its affiliates, and each of its and their officers, directors, employees, consultants, licensors, agents, and representatives from and against any and all claims, losses, damages or liability that may be asserted against or incurred by any of them at any time, in connection with entry, or participation or inability to participate in any Contest, or your breach of any agreement or warranty associated with any Contest. You agree further to indemnify and hold harmless, Company from any claim, demand, damage, or loss whatsoever coming out due to your non-compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction. This indemnification obligation will survive the expiry or termination of these Contest Terms and your participation in the Contests.

We may change, suspend or discontinue your access to any Contest, without notice or liability at our sole discretion, without prejudice to any legal or equitable remedies available to us, for (a) violation of these Contest Terms or other rules and regulations or guidelines posted on the Platform; (b) any unlawful conduct or conduct which we believe is harmful to other Participants, to our businesses, or other information providers; or (c) any other reason as we may deem fit.

You acknowledge that your representations, undertakings, and warranties and the clauses relating to indemnities, grant of license, governing law and jurisdiction, shall survive the termination of these Contest Terms.

If a Participant is dissatisfied with the Contest or the Contest rules and/or any content or any requirements of the Contest form, the materials available related thereto, or with these terms and conditions, his/her/their sole and exclusive remedy is to not participate in the Contest.

Notwithstanding anything set out in these Contest Terms, the decision of the Company as to the interpretation of any clause under these Contest Terms shall be final and binding on the Participants.

Subject to the clauses below, the courts of competent jurisdiction at Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction to determine any and all disputes arising out of, or in connection with the Contest provided by Company through the Platform (including the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Contest Terms, or the rights and obligations of the Participants), as well as the exclusive jurisdiction to grant interim or preliminary relief in case of any dispute. All such issues and questions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
